Bob is a retired
constable from the OPP where he spent several years as the Community
Policing support officer for the Port Stanley community. Bob has been a
member of CPAC since 1997 and was the chair of the 1997-1998 Community
Policing conference held in Huron Park. As of April 2008, Bob will be
assuming the position of Chair, CPAC Ontario.
Hugh Russell, Vice-Chair
Hugh
specializes in the social psychology of community groups engaged for
social development. For the past 30+ years he has focused on local
groups and initiatives that strive to deal with significant threats to
community safety and wellbeing.
Kathryn Wiepjes, Treasurer
Kathryn first encountered CPAC in 2003 when she attended the"Partners Preventing Victimization" Conference and then decided in 2004 to join CPAC Zone 6. In 2005 she became the Treasurer for Zone 6 andin 2007 Co-Chaired the "Today's World" Conference. She is currently the Treasurer for CPAC Ontario. She's been the Area Coordinator for Delaware Neighbourhood Watch since 2002 when she also joined the Delaware Community Policing Committee of which she's been Chair since 2004. In 2003 she Co-Chaired the first "Racing Against Drugs" Event in Delaware and has been a Co-Chair for this Bi-Annual event since then. Kathryn is also a member of the Middlesex County Community Policing Chairs Committee and the Del-Ko-Brydge Canada Day Committee. She participates in an annual fundraiser called "The Challenge for Cancer Research" and in my spare time she sells Avon and Regal. Prior to 2001, she worked for 15 years at London Life Insurance in the Group Claims Department.
Gary Jewer, Outgoing Chair (2008)
Gary is one of the
founding members of CPAC in 1994 and played an advisory role on behalf
of the OPP Community Policing. In the year 2000 Gary retired from the
OPP as Staff Sergeant and was elected Chair for CPAC. Gary still
remains as a consultant for the OPP.

Joan FitzGerald, Director
Joan is an active community volunteer with the Oro Medonte Community Policing committee where she introduced the first "Road Watch" program for the community. Joan has been a member of CPAC since 2000 and held position as treasurer. Joan remains as a Director on the Board.
Darrell Kington, Director
Darrell is retired from IBM Canada. He is currently the Secretary of the Thames Centre - Dorchester Community Policing Committee where he has been an active member since it was re-established in 1998, having held various Executive positions. Darrell was instrumental in also organizing the Thames Centre - Dorchester Citizens On Patrol program. Darrell has served on the organizing committees (CPAC Zone 6) for the Community Policing Conferences held in 1999 and 2001 in Huron Park, and the 2005 conference held in Ridgetown. In 2000, Darrell was trained in Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED) by Tim Crowe. Darrell assists in facilitating CPTED courses with the O.P.P. and non-police groups throughout Ontario. He is a member of CPTED Ontario.
Rajender Sud, Director
Rajender Sud is a member of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Crime Prevention Section and is currently assigned to the Community Issues Unit for the OPP at General Headquarters in Orillia. Raj has been supporting Community Policing, Community Mobilization and Restorative Justice for many years and has facilitated the implementation of many community run police supported initiatives across the province.
David Forbes, Director
Dave
is retired from the Ottawa Carleton P.S. (Nepean) after serving for 31
1/2 years and retiring with the rank of Staff Sergeant. He has taught
in the recruit training program at the Ontario Police College in
Aylmer. As well as teaching at Algonquin College in Ottawa in the
Police Foundations Program and Law and Security Administration Program
(LASA) he now teaches in the Police Foundations Program at Westervelt
College. Dave has been an active member of Zone 6 CPAC for some time
now, and is an active community member with the Southwold CPA
Irvin Curly Andrews, Director
Curley has been an
active member of the Petawawa Community Policing Committee for 19 yrs.
He is an active member of the Red Cross , Royal Canadian Legion, the
Petawawa Horticulture, Eastern Ontario Gunners association. and
numerous other agencies.
Joel Van Bynen, Consultant to the Board
Joel works in engineering and chairs several local and national skilled trades and apprenticeship committees. Joel is a keynote speaker,
student, and facilitator and sits on a number of community committees involved in
and labour market development.
He is a continuous learner who inspires others to achieve to their full potential. He is a self-starter who is committed to customer service and organizational success. He has 20 years of practical, hands-on work experience. He is currently
assisting the board in developing and managing their website and other
technical aspects of running the board.He currently co-chairs the Elgin, Middlesex, Oxford Workforce Planning and Development Board.
